Former head of ESA Independent Safety Office
T. Sgobba joined the European Space Agency in 1989, after 13 years in the aeronautical industry. Initially he supported the development of the Ariane 5 launcher, of earth observation and meteorological satellites, and the early Hermes spaceplane phase. John Spencer is a space architect/designer, founder and president of the Space Tourism Society (STS), and author with Karen L. Rugg of the first book on space tourism published in the U.S. titled Space Tourism: Do You Want to Go? (Apogee Books, 2004), in which he pioneers the application of yachting and cruise ship industry models to space tourism. He has been quoted in more than 100 TV shows, documentaries, radio shows, and articles in magazines and newspapers on Space Tourism. Prof. Oliver Ullrich
Prof. Ullrich is an Academician of the International Academy of Astronautics, Head of Space Medicine / Space Life Sciences of the German Society for Aerospace Medicine, Chair of Anatomy, Professor and Director, University Zurich, Switzerland, and Professor of Space Biotechnology, University of Magdeburg, Germany. He is an active investigator in the German and European space life sciences research program, including ISS, sounding rockets and parabolic flights.
